Kieran Harrop was born in Ireland and grew up in a logging community in Canada’s northern interior. Two years after graduating from university, he set sail from Canada’s west coast to the Caribbean. During his seven year voyage he interviewed other sailors who were living their dreams and began writing Voyage to Destiny which leverages the sailing metaphor in understanding how to set and achieve goals. Kieran is an executive consultant with a tier one IT services company and an inspirational speaker who lives on the west coast of Canada with his wife and children. He is also passionate about open government and open data.
